boyst Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Wait, I thought the Russians 'hacked' his employment after he won the popular vote in the locker room... no, no, they hacked his nflpa man of the week. no, seriously, he was voted nflpa man of the week or some **** last week despite not being on a roster.
B-Man Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) A lot of people are operating under the assumption that Kaepernick’s protest is popular. It isn’t. ESPN politicized sports. Hope they're enjoying Trump playing along. I can only laugh at this headline from the Washington Post: “Trump turns sports into a political battleground with comments on NFL and Stephen Curry.” Even if one thinks, as I do, that Trump should abstain from talk that mixes politics with sports, it couldn’t be more obvious that athletes like Colin Kaepernick and Stephen Curry are the ones who turned sports into a political battleground. I respect their right to do so. But please, let’s not pretend that Trump is responsible for the politicization of sports. That’s the work of deep political thinkers like Kaepernick, Curry, etc., egged on by ESPN and left-wing sports commentators. David Burge @iowahawkblogFollow More I support NFL players’ right to take a knee, and NFL fans’ right to take a walk. 2:43 PM - 23 Sep 2017 Edited September 24, 2017 by B-Man

They're annoyed with Trump doing what Kaep actually started, which is why people were annoyed with Kaep in the first place.
B-Man Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Ravens and Jaguars players kneeling during National Anthem in England And this is where Trump wins. If you go overseas and disrespect the American flag, the message you send, and your support ......................radically changes. Check out #23, kneeling but still with his hand over his heart. And look at how the guy next to him is looking at him.

K-9 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Yeah, the president of the greatest country on earth should be held to the same standard as sports commentators on an entertainment network. Unphuckingbelievable.
DC Tom Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Yeah, the president of the greatest country on earth should be held to the same standard as sports commentators on an entertainment network. Unphuckingbelievable. Of course not. The commentators should be held to a higher standard. They have more of an impact.
K-9 Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Of course not. The commentators should be held to a higher standard. They have more of an impact. Sure they do.
DC Tom Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Sure they do. At least until North Korea nukes us.
B-Man Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Not long ago, even Obama was arguing that Kaepernick had chosen a bad way to protest. Now verboten on Left to question it.
Kelly the Dog Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Of course not. The commentators should be held to a higher standard. They have more of an impact. They couldn't possibly have more of an impact. They are all fake.
