What a Tuel Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 So I drew first in the order of picking for the draft. That means I have a choice for spots 1-12 in the draft. I am leaning towards #1 just to secure Antonio Brown. The middle sounds gross to me. The later picks 10-12 sound good, but the fear is that the people ahead of me will actually draft decently. What do you guys think?
LB3 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 (edited) 6. The middle is where it's at. Edited August 26, 2016 by LBSeeBallLBGetBall
What a Tuel Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 6. The middle is where it's at. Hmmm Why do you say this?!
section122 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I'm with chilly. You get your pick of the litter then later on in the draft you have back to backs which helps immensely imo. Also you will 3 players in the top 25 on your team. That should be a great start.
LB3 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Hmmm Why do you say this?! Basically just personal preference based on my FF philosophy and past experience. In most of the leagues I've been in, you cannot get a second good RB (or first if you take a WR with your first pick) if you have the 1st pick in a snake draft. At 6, you're going to most likely get that. I like having two RB's that don't split carries equally with other backs. I've never had a problem getting that while drafting in the middle. It's a passing league so there are more good WR options available later.
What a Tuel Posted August 27, 2016 Author Posted August 27, 2016 I went with 1 in one league and 6 in another! Thanks guys! Definitely going with Antonio Brown #1
