3rdand12 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Wheres Salas ? I might take him over Boykin health depending. Thats a fair look estelle. But Bills then have no deep speed except Sammy. Till Listenbee grows into his cleats.

Till Listenbee grows into his cleats. I like Salas but his injury came at a bad time and other receivers have stepped up. But your right, i wouldn't be surprised if they kept Salas over Boykin although i would not do that. Â Besides Powell's combine #s i think he's shown he does have deep speed. Little also has above average speed.

I honestly don't know enough about Boykin. I will try to watch him closer in the last PreSeasaon game. Tell me why you like him over Salas ?
Deadstroke Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Â Seconded. Greg Little cut; I sure as heck do not think so. Â Yeah, he has his drops but 6"2 1/2, 220 lbs of muscle, and 4.53 combine time make him a big and attractive target. Watch him run his routes. He seems to either out muscle or out run the defender, and more often than not gets reasonably open quite a bit. Â No way in the world I would consider cutting him.

We're the fourth team to be intrigued by his physical attributes. Time will tell if we're the fourth team to give up on his hands of stone.
Big C Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Trainor Austin - here today gone tomorrow  This guy is gonna play a lot on Thursday, and then he will be cut.

Tell me why you like him over Salas ? I think Boykin has more receiving yards and TD in one season than Salas has his whole career. Plus Boykin is faster and like I said former #1 WR of Tyrod. I think there is much more upside keeping Boykin. But I wouldn't be surprised if he is cut due to the familiarity the staff has with Salas or them trying to hold out false hope on Goodwin. Freddie's Dead Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Greg Little. There's a reason Roberto "Hands of Stone" Duran couldn't be a football player. Dude cannot catch to save his life. If you're looking for other reasons to keep a WR who can't complete job 1 for a WR, then you're not going to win football games.
TUBSTER Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Goodwin isn't getting cut. He's been running with the 1's and Rex likes him. He isn't a part of the receiver competition (like it or not). He's a lock. He is always injured he played 2 games last season and is injured again this year for a while. I'm not disagreeing with you just upset that he's not cut.

I keep looking at the Touchdown pass that was disqualified against the Giants. and then they went back to him for the score. He has learned to battle for the ball. And thats what they want from him. Red Zone guy, perhaps?
billykaykay Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I would just like to point out that if it were not for two questionable ref calls Little has 3 touchdowns in the last 2 games On 3rd &5 he will drop it. Can't count on him.
John from Riverside Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 On 3rd &5 he will drop it. Can't count on him. before I say for definate that Little is gonna drop a 3rd and 5 in a game....I need to see him ACTUALLY do it. Â ALL wr's drop balls.....every single one of them. This guy is a tank of a blocker and seems to get open.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Gay and/or Sanborn I pray that they don't think about cutting Gay. They did it mid last year and should have learned their lesson.
VanCity Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I pray that they don't think about cutting Gay. They did it mid last year and should have learned their lesson. Different rules. If Carp can consistently drop that lofty kick around the 10 yard line, then that's most likely what the coaches want to see. I like having the guaranteed touchback on the team, but with the extra 5 yards tacked on this year.....maybe it's better risking the touchback to get an extra defender a guaranteed roster spot instead of exposing him on the PS?

ALL wr's drop balls.....every single one of them. This guy is a tank of a blocker and seems to get open.  And it is very, very important in the offense for WRs to be able to block even if they are decoys and rarely catch balls. I pray that they don't think about cutting Gay. They did it mid last year and should have learned their lesson.  Since I doubt he will be picked up by other teams I think it is okay to cut him and resign him when they want to ensure opposing team dangerous kickoff specialist does not get ball; not great situation for Gay but better than going to CFL at less than half the rate.
3rdand12 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 On 3rd &5 he will drop it. Can't count on him. But will he be past the the 1st down marker is what i wanna know ?
The Wiz Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 (edited) At this point for it to be a surprise it would have to be Powell. The guy has been the best receiver of all the guys battling for a spot. Edited August 28, 2016 by The Wiz
YoloinOhio Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 At this point for it to be a surprise it would have to be Powell. The guy has been the best receiver of all the guys battling for a spot.and he can return kicks.
