Wayne Cubed Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I don't excuse penalties because they are on backups. I don't care how many Washington have had. I care about the Bills given the problems we had with them last season. I refuse to count those 2 RTP penalties but yea, the Bills need to own those penalties even if they are on backups.
Billsman623 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Just because penalties and yardage are similar doesn't excuse the fact that several horrible calls against the Bills were made. Good grief.
GunnerBill Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I refuse to count those 2 RTP penalties but yea, the Bills need to own those penalties even if they are on backups. Agreed.
3rdand12 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Ahh my bad. I mean Dan Carpenter. Whenever he makes a big kick, I always let out a big DC cheer. My apologies good sir. Even in preseason I get riled up !! Â Â Go Bills 3rd stringers !!!
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Skins O line took a bunch of those penalties. Worthy and Washington were making some problems. They just gotta keep playing. Â Lot of mistakes. Clean it up
ExWNYer Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 I don't excuse penalties because they are on backups. I don't care how many Washington have had. I care about the Bills given the problems we had with them last season. Â Edit: I will excuse the two roughing the passer calls. Both were horse **** calls. Â So you don't think that guys who won't be on the team committing penalties doesn't make a difference?? Okay. They're not good enough to make the roster for a reason. Including committing penalties.
HuSeYiN_NYC Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Let's see if it will be an even matchup when the Redskins put their backups on the field
3rdand12 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Just because penalties and yardage are similar doesn't excuse the fact that several horrible calls against the Bills were made. Good grief. It's preseason. just wait till it gets real. Biermann and Hawthornes were bs. but thats the game Eh?
GunnerBill Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Â So you don't think that guys who won't be on the team committing penalties doesn't make a difference?? Okay. They're not good enough to make the roster for a reason. Including committing penalties. Penalties to me (other than bonehead unnecessary roughness ones) are institutional problems not personal ones
ExWNYer Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Penalties to me (other than bonehead unnecessary roughness ones) are institutional problems not personal ones  You're taking all of the penalties in a vacuum. It does make a difference who is committing them. To say otherwise is flawed logic but you're certainly entitled to your opinion.
Wayne Cubed Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Now the game begins... Â Backups vs backups
Marty McFly Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 It's Redskins starters against Bills 3's & 4's. Keep some perspective. our offense was not looking good tho. The O line needs work. That right side
3rdand12 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Now the game begins... Â Backups vs backups some folks turn off now. this is my favorite part
GunnerBill Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 To say otherwise is flawed logic but you're certainly entitled to your opinion. No it isn't. Instilling discipline and control into your team's play is a coaching responsibility. We have committed stupid pre-snap penalties in all 3 pre season games. That does not reflect well on what the staff has tried to do.
