KD in CA Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 I hate when people ask "you follow?" midway through a sentence. Unless of course, it's Robert Shaw in The Sting. You folla'? Stupid nicknames for grandparents...Meemaw, pop pop, nana, etc. so f*@king stupid! Meemaw?? Is that what cats call their grandparents? "Have a good one" My old boss at Bestaste would have slapped me in the head if I ever said that to customer I do this sometimes and I hate myself for it.

eball Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 "First and foremost..." Which really means, "this is an afterthought."
Pete Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 whenever someone says "it is what it is". WTF does that mean? It's like a bad attempt at being Yogi Berra
snafu Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 whenever someone says "it is what it is". WTF does that mean? It's like a bad attempt at being Yogi Berra "it is what it is" should almost always be followed by "but it's not what it should be".
Beerball Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 whenever someone says "it is what it is". WTF does that mean? It's like a bad attempt at being Yogi Berra I hear you, but, be that as it may, it really is what it is. You follow?
mrags Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Not for nothing, but...😡 Just the thought of His one makes me want to punch a baby
Johnny Hammersticks Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Just the thought of His one makes me want to punch a baby Seriously, well I don't know about punching babies, but this makes me want to punt a kitten for sure. Recently, my Mom has started using this phrase in what she feels is a more grammatically appropriate manner..."not for anything, but." Makes me so angry.
