A bone has to heal.” In addition to losing the veteran tight end for nearly all of training camp, there is also a concern with that the injury could linger once he does get back on the field. “They’re afraid that if he gets it hit again, they might need to put a screw in,” Harbaugh said. “It’s just that kind of a fracture.” Good news for Bills defense since he is a pass catching TE and even if he can play with taped up fingers it is going to affect his ability to catch.
