JimmyTheFreak Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 99% of NFL players did not begin to smoke weed to manage pain. Anybody who believes that most of them started because of pain issues has their head up their ass.
Meark Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 It's all about the public image of the league. Except that you wonder if they're not hurting their image more by outing these guys and suspending them than if they just let them smoke their weed in private and in peace. Exactly. If no one knew.. then there would be no images hurt.
Pete Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Wow! "Big Pharma" is really the shadowy presence behind a drug free America!--look at those sums! 75k! 100K! By the way, Merck 36 billion annual revenues, J&J 32 billion, Roche 39 billion. big pharma, alcohol, and tobacco companies started partnership for a drug free America. I like to know who buy's politicians and who pays networks and if you want to know why the NFL is draconian with regards to reefer, look at their sponsors
Fadingpain Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 What's next? A strict policy on outlawing firearms in the possession of players? There won't be a league left if this keeps up.
Mr. WEO Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 big pharma, alcohol, and tobacco companies started partnership for a drug free America. I like to know who buy's politicians and who pays networks and if you want to know why the NFL is draconian with regards to reefer, look at their sponsors Everyone buys politicians. The people who pay networks provide the football loving USA with free football for our viewing pleasure. They provide essentially free cash printing business for 32 owners. Tossing 75K to a largely ignored "just say no" outfit is hardly a conspiracy.
