I think think is probably pretty close to what we see. I'm not if Henderson is PUP eligible since he passed his physical, but I wonder if the NFI list is possible for him if he had a setback with his illness.

The only place I would disagree is keeping 6 safeties, I think Blanton or Meeks gets the axe; but then again this could be their original 53.

I would say Blanton/Meeks, Groy, O'Leary and Albright are the guys in danger of losing their spot for upgrades or when Dareus or Henderson return, barring any injuries before then.

Going off this roster, I think that Wilder Jr., Gronkowski, Dez Lewis and Lavar Edwards are your most obvious PS candidates from the cuts. I'd imagine they'll try to bring back Justin Zimmer as well, athletic freaks like him are the reason the practice squad exists. Maybe Max Valles if they're still hyped on his potential, he's only 22 and super raw.

Bryson Albright is another obvious guy IF he doesn't make the 53; I think he just needs to put on a little bit of mass to be a decent player, he's got great instincts but looks so wiry out there.

A little research shows O'Leary is still PS eligible as well since he hasn't appeared in 6 games yet, so they'd be smart to grab another TE and stash him away again.

Pretty safe bet on your predictions, two six, but I expect at least one surprise (Felton??) and Rex attested that they'll be scouring the waiver wires for pick ups, implying this 53 will be pretty flexible in the coming days.. The players 'ranked' from 49-53 after cut down are still bubble prospects, IMO..

If they keep Gronk, then I hope Felton is gone. Keeping two FBs doesn't make any sense to me.

Yea I have probably put Henderson on the wrong list.... I just think they might take the view he isn't fully ready for the intensity of bona fide NFL competition.

I think they are going to keep 6 safeties. The way that they will justify it is Meeks, Blanton and Duke all play teams so why keep an additional back up linebacker or an additional backup receiver who are not good teams players?

I think one of them probably ends up making way at some point for Dareus or for someone else they like who becomes available but I believe that at the end of today all 6 will be on the 53.

I think the team feels it's between Boykin and Powell for the final WR spot. They really like Boykin on Special Teams, plus he's got size. He's a possible surprise keep over Powell even though we've all seen that Powell can certainly make plays.

Meeks makes it over the second fullback - too much ST value.

I struggled with keeping a 2nd FB, a 5th EDGE defender, or a 6th safety.

I decided on the FB because (a) Gronk can also play some TE and (b) between Anderson, Blanton, LorAx, Lattimore, and Easley (if he ever gets healthy), the team has quite a few core special teamers.

Also Bandit doesn't have Humber. Rex pretty much said last night after the game he is on the team.

I hadn't heard that--I really liked Lattimore in last night's game.

Me too the bit I watched and I liked Lattimore as a pick up at the time. I think him being hurt some in camp has probably killed his chance of making this team but you never know. I watched Rex's Presser this morning he said it was a "pretty safe bet" Humber was on the team.

Thanks for the head's up! Since that's the case, I really hope it's at the expense of one of the FBs--I like the idea of keeping 11 DBs.
