Yeah, as others have said, he isn't a pass rusher. And judging by how our pass rush was in season one under Rex, I would take one sack from him. 7 would be better than Mario, Hughes, Dareus, and Kyle did last year.

Biermann is more known for his run support not his pass rush skills. He had the 5th highest run stop percentage last year, in the league.

I think that had to do more with cap hit than projected performance. Turned out he was one of the only guys that bothered to learn the Defense.

I think the Bills are doing the best they can in this situation, bringing in veteran players who give the team a chance because they can pick up the scheme and get prepared to play.

 

We've obviously lost a lot of athleticism which isn't great. Really need the CBs to be solid this year, a lot will be riding on them in the passing game.
