The Wiz
I think that I would have liked "New Era Stadium" better but that may be because it has always been ______ Stadium.I'm in the same boat. Maybe they wanted it that way to remove the compulsion to say the old name(s).

Saxum
I watched the stadium being built; my grandmother owned a large property on California Road (pretty sure that was address, right off the creek) and we used to watch construction when visiting her. eball
Looks like it's going to be called "The Cap." image.jpg image.jpg According to Hammer that seems to be a vinyl banner that can be changed regularly for marketing purposes. I dig the change. I never embraced the stadium as RWS...it was Rich Stadium for a longer period of time, including the 90s heydays. New Era Field is a fresh start with a relevant, local company. I don't think I could get behind calling it "the cap". I think is sooner be more comfortable calling Heinz Field "the ketchup bowl" Edited August 18, 2016 by The Wiz
