Boulton, yeah surprised he got the better of Probert, the latter my all time favorite fighter. Danny Gare pound for pound great fighter too. Dudley, halkidis, schoenfeld....just seems like back in the day sabres had more guys who could throw down Edited August 11, 2016 by truth on hold
Pete Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Boulton and Probert, gotta love the Rayzer's nod at the end edit: Man I miss the Rayzer, favorite sabre of all time. Ray and Gilbert Perrault are my two favorite Sabres ever. I am looking for a Rob Ray jersey. Probert is one of my favorite non-Sabre players of all time old time hockey. This is a classic video I have watched several times. Don't mess with 1970'sSabres- they could throw!

ChevyVanMiller Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 One of my favorites is the time that a drunken fan of the opposition thought it would be a good idea to climb into the Sabres bench. He didn't count on one Rob Ray waiting for him.

snafu Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I couldn't get through the whole OP clip at work. I'm sure Larry Playfair ragdolling Terry O'Reilly must have been included. That's the first one that came to my mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K8m_ZMLmio
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 I'm guessing Rayzer didn't like Dennis Vial
DC Tom Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 ray for the win Yeah...but somewhere out there, there's some random, anonymous guy who can brag about how he took ten shots to the head from Rob Ray in a hockey fight. That's more than we'll ever accomplish.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 On a side note: is there any greater hockey villain than Tie Domi?
snafu Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 On a side note: is there any greater hockey villain than Tie Domi? Hockey villain who would drop the gloves, maybe so. But the biggest hockey d-bag was Dale Hunter.
Pete Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 (edited) Who is the best fighter on the Sabres currently? Kane is very tough Edited August 11, 2016 by Pete
DC Tom Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Hockey villain who would drop the gloves, maybe so. But the biggest hockey d-bag was Dale Hunter. Second-biggest. Biggest was Todd Bertuzzi, for breaking Steve Moore's neck.
plenzmd1 Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 My all-time favorite: The size and gnarliness of May's hands on the telecasts always amazes me....looks like he has the proverbial "hands of granite"
truth on hold Posted August 11, 2016 Author Posted August 11, 2016 Gotta luv the last one with Barnaby and the goalies getting into it. Fortunately no one got hurt
