YoloinOhio Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 @darrendegaetano I have been told Lane Johnson will be suspended 10 games for PED violation. His 2nd offense. #Eagles Yikes - didn't they just give him a big contract? 2013 draft continues to look like ****
YoloinOhio Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 @corryjoel Assuming Lane Johnson's 10 game suspension stands, he is one positive PED test away from a 2 year ban.

BarleyNY Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I just read they have voiding language with PED suspensions. That's huge. Here's the breakdown of his contract: http://overthecap.com/player/lane-johnson/2185/
RobRyanFan Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 If I were the Bills, I would trade for him. We could probably trade a 6th or 7th round pick for him, and he could be a long term answer at RT.

boyst Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I really wonder what these guys are taking. Clem is a great ped that is popular; I'd not be surprised if it was such that he had this heading in to TC. It would be the ideal ped along with doping.
John from Riverside Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Why would we trade for a player one violation away from a 2 year ban?
BarleyNY Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Why would we trade for a player one violation away from a 2 year ban? Yeah, I agree. It'd be a tough trade to make, too. Teams wouldn't want to give up anything for him so the Iggles would be better off holding onto him rather than taking a late round pick. Even if you could acquire him, could you really depend on him? You could spend a lot of time and effort teaching him your system and getting him to gel with your OL only to have him get suspended for 2 more seasons. Then all you did was swap a late round pick for a problem.
Blokestradamus Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 He's put on 110 pounds since high school. This isn't a shocker.
Malazan Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 He says his positive test was from an approved substance...and for some reason even though he knows he took this substance, he expects different results from his "B" test. I'm betting he ends up suspended.
Augie Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Why would we trade for a player one violation away from a 2 year ban? Maybe we think he can remain uninjured sitting at home on his couch???
CommonCents Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Can teams reallocate the saved money when suspending a player?
Shamrock Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 ...Besides, it's not that hard to put on 35 pounds in a summer, if you really hit the gym.

3rdand12 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I an starting to wonder if these guys are either getting bad advice, or mislabeled product. Happens too often. Something is amiss here.
