FLFan Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 To close the thread in its initial purpose: Unfortunately, Edelman's injury appears to be minor.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 To close the thread in its initial purpose: Unfortunately, Edelman's injury appears to be minor. Of course. The football gods can't spare us enough misery
Captain Hindsight Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Again, the real question is what are you kids doing in here? How do you have the time? What's the point? I wouldn't have been in here for 2 seconds before I retired. Some weak sauce. Man that phase keeps getting older and older I guess. I've never heard a 72 year use the term weak sauce
YoloinOhio Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Man that phase keeps getting older and older I guess. I've never heard a 72 year use the term weak saucehe's Benjamin Button
26CornerBlitz Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Lock it up please. @RapSheet After giving the team a scare with his foot injury yesterday, #Patriots WR Julian Edelman is back on the practice field today.
Virgil Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 They'll marinate him in HGH and he will play opening day. Genuinely laughed out loud at this
The Wiz Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 From everything that went on in this thread the the important thing for me to take away is that the title had cheatriots in it the whole time and I just continually read it as patriots. Either you guys say cheatriots too much or i've just created a simile in my mind for the two words to mean the same.
CommonCents Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Good news Jimmy G. sucked so bad again today he was getting booed by fans.
Rocky Landing Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 From everything that went on in this thread the the important thing for me to take away is that the title had cheatriots in it the whole time and I just continually read it as patriots. Either you guys say cheatriots too much or i've just created a simile in my mind for the two words to mean the same. Weird. I didn't even notice that I was doing the same thing until you pointed it out.
Saxum Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 How else does Gronk tear his knee up and play 6 weeks later? He did the Emmitt Smith recovery - exaggerate the injury and then come back and talk about miracle which could only happen due to himself.
GAC Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 For now. Until Mrs. Bundchen retires. +1000 Do *Pats "fans" even know they had a team before the year 2000?!
Gugny Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 +1000 Do *Pats "fans" even know they had a team before the year 2000?! Do Bills fans know that 2000 was the last year they played in a playoff game?
CommonCents Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 +1000 Do *Pats "fans" even know they had a team before the year 2000?! For the billionth time the Patriot love fest started with Bledose, Kraft and Coates. They went to the super bowl in 1997 and luckily Desmond Howard and company made that a forgettable experience.
DrDawkinstein Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Do Bills fans know that 2000 was the last year they played in a playoff game? You forgot to log in as "hardwork"
Mr. WEO Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 +1000 Do *Pats "fans" even know they had a team before the year 2000?! You mean 22 years straight sold out home games? What year would that make it on your people's calendar?
Wayne Arnold Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Unless Tom Brady changed his name to Julian Edelman, there's no way this thread deserved 10+ pages. You should all be ashamed.
The Wiz Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Unless Tom Brady changed his name to Julian Edelman, there's no way this thread deserved 10+ pages. You should all be ashamed. It's been more of a pissing match and joke thread part the first two or three pages. Unless you read the whole thing, you would know that.
MattM Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 You mean 22 years straight sold out home games? What year would that make it on your people's calendar? And just a few years before that, they had less than 20,000 season ticket holders, in a city probably about 5 times the size of Buffalo.....
Mr. WEO Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 And just a few years before that, they had less than 20,000 season ticket holders, in a city probably about 5 times the size of Buffalo..... Wow, crappy football teams=more TV blackouts? And years of crappy teams followed suddenly by record season ticket sales with the arrival of a new owner? What happened to blackouts at the Ralph after the Bills SB runs?
MattM Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 Wow, crappy football teams=more TV blackouts? And years of crappy teams followed suddenly by record season ticket sales with the arrival of a new owner? What happened to blackouts at the Ralph after the Bills SB runs? It wasn't the arrival of a new owner--it was winning. Biggest bandwagon fan base in sports, as we'll see as soon as Brady retires (or, hopefully, even before then--it would be nice to see some payback for things like his love of blowing out opponents (read his Esquire interview from a few years back)). We both know that the Bills could consistently put a loser on the field and still not dip below 30k in season ticket sales, once again, in a city about a quarter the sour of Beantown.
