Estelle Getty Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) We have discussed this before but the Reggie Ragland injury is a perfect example of how bad our medical staff is. 1. Rather than use precaution they let Ragland walk of the field on his own with a partially torn ACL. Even though it was a non contact injury which almost always involves a tear of some sort. 2. They tell Rex Ryan they don't think there was any ligament damage. (Rex didn't come up with that on his own). 3. They tell the team they will have a definitive answer by Sunday or Monday, failing to take into account the severity of the swelling which will not allow a second opinion that quickly. Between constantly rushing star players back from injury Manuel (knees), McCoy (hamstring), Aaron Williams (neck) and misdiagnosing injuries (Lawson) they have shown a level of incompetence that has affected our teams chances to win games. Im beginning to think our medical staff is made up of a group of Arbys workers who thought it would be a funny gag to apply for the job. Edited August 8, 2016 by Estelle Getty
26CornerBlitz Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) Walking off the field with an ACL iinjury has zero impact. What silliness. Edited August 8, 2016 by 26CornerBlitz
Wayne Cubed Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 They told the team they'd have a definitive answer by Sunday or Monday? Says who?
PromoTheRobot Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) They don't have X-ray vision. Edited August 8, 2016 by PromoTheRobot
Estelle Getty Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 They don't have X-ray vision. Then why tell the coach that? I'm not even sure they have an x-ray machine. Pretty sure they just send players to convenient care to diagnose them. They told the team they'd have a definitive answer by Sunday or Monday? Says who? The coach and every media outlet. But why pay attention ?
Malazan Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Then why tell the coach that? I'm not even sure they have an x-ray machine. Pretty sure they just send players to convenient care to diagnose them. The coach and every media outlet. But why pay attention ? You have no idea what was said. There's no reason to start making stuff up to bash the team. If you can't find something from reality to do so then you're not trying very hard. The Patriots were one of the most banged up teams last season. Maybe they should fire their doctors too...
PromoTheRobot Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Top 10 reasons for all the Bills injuries: 10) Rex runs too tough a camp9) Rex runs too soft a camp 8) Medical staff can't give definitive diagnoses instantly 7) Russ Brandon's meddling 6) Players don't prepare enough 5) Whaley's drafting 4) Too many coaches 3) 16 years no playoffs 2) Floor mats 1) RALPH IS CHEAP!!
Hapless Bills Fan Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Walking off the field with an ACL iinjury has zero impact. What silliness. This. Some people walk around with torn ACLs for years
Buffalo_Stampede Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 I think they were named best in football a couple years ago.

So your saying the coach just made up his own diagnosis? Are you really that foolish? Get with it.
Shamrock Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 They don't have X-ray vision. ...or magnetic vision...
Estelle Getty Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 (edited) This. Some people walk around with torn ACLs for years So you can't go from a partial tear to a full tear from not treating it properly. You should make sure everyone knows this doc. Im not surprised with those who blindly defend personnel decisions of a team that hasnt made the playoffs since right before the thong song came out. But the medical staff now too? Russ Brandon's marketing has reached new heights. Edited August 8, 2016 by Estelle Getty
Nervous Guy Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 This. Some people walk around with torn ACLs for years Hell, Hines Ward played his whole career without a left ACL!
Buffalo_Stampede Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Hell, Hines Ward played his whole career without a left ACL! Ok, well Mario Williams played his whole career without heart.
Nervous Guy Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Ok, well Mario Williams played his whole career without heart. Thurman ran for 1600 yards at OSU with a torn ACL!
CNY315 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 So you can't go from a partial tear to a full tear from not treating it properly. You should make sure everyone knows this doc. Are you a doctor?
Estelle Getty Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Are you a doctor? Do you have to be to know that?
Augie Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 The Patriots were one of the most banged up teams last season. Maybe they should fire their doctors too... And they let Brady walk off after his ACL tear. This. Some people walk around with torn ACLs for years Ironically, the guy who was a magician during my son's ACL rehab tore both of his playing college football and NEVER had them repaired. Stuck with mountain biking and other activities that didn't require an ACL.
Malazan Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 So your saying the coach just made up his own diagnosis? Are you really that foolish? Get with it. You're making things up again. Please stop. It's embarrassing for all of us like when someone gets really drunk and tries to hit on someone who wants no part of it. None of us want to be here and see this.
