26CornerBlitz Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 @WHTK Alex Rodriguez will finish his playing career in the MLB with the #Yankees on Friday. https://t.co/77cA6YDesm
Nanker Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I never have, and I doubt I ever will think of him as a real Yankee.
Beef Jerky Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 (edited) Yankees are starting to rebuild into a champion again... Finally baseball has been missing that. Edited August 7, 2016 by Beef Jerky
The Poojer Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Great presser, sure Arod fell victim to the cheers of the fans and indifference from the league. My Yankees went out and brought the best players in, in accordance with the rules, and dominated the AL East for several years. He's flawed like a lot of others in the game, but the Yankees are stepping up and letting him end his career in pinstripes! The Yankees have stocked up on young talent and are positioning themselves for #28 and beyond
26CornerBlitz Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 @Sportsnet Why you shouldn't have the slightest bit of sympathy for A-Rod http://sprtsnt.ca/2aU9Rnt @SNJeffBlair
Gugny Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Don't let the door hit you, narcissistic piece of schit.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Why is he retiring now and not at the actual end of the season? CBF
26CornerBlitz Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Why is he retiring now and not at the actual end of the season? CBF Too embarrassed to sit on the bench with almost no game action.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Too embarrassed to sit on the bench with almost no game action. Gotcha. I also just read that he is being released CBF
CommonCents Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Listening to Cowherd, I guess Arod fake cried at the podium yesterday. His hat was on when he started the interview then after rubbing his eyes a few times he takes off his hat so you can see his redden swollen eyes, and no tears coming down. Doesn't that pretty much sum up who this guy is? Good riddance, if they vote him into Cooperstown I will vomit.
Cugalabanza Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 He's unquestionably a piece of ****. I hope Girardi doesn't even put him in the lineup for his last game.
26CornerBlitz Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 He's unquestionably a piece of ****. I hope Girardi doesn't even put him in the lineup for his last game. He will and the ticket prices have already escalated.
LeviF Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 So many haters. My thoughts exactly. Did ARod !@#$ all your wives or something? Chill, dudes.
KD in CA Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 My thoughts exactly. Did ARod !@#$ all your wives or something? Chill, dudes. He may have tagged a few. ARod got around quite a bit. It's quite a change from the ending the Yankees anticipated when they gave him that contract. The chase to 700 should have been a huge deal, instead they cut him 4 short.
