I honestly didn't think he'd ever get his act together. Hope it lasts. It's always a gamble....

Eh, it's been three years now since the draft and he's looked the part since. I'd be willing to bet on him at this point.

He plays corner too.

He's a dynamic playmaker who definitely earned it with excellent play since he's entered the league.

Oh, I don't disagree. I saw an interview with him recently and came away impressed (in a good way). I am convinced a lot of this stuff has to do with age and the frontal lobe developing.

I watch a lot of 4 pm Angry Birds games as my younger son is a fanatic Cards fan. Everyone in the family is a die hard Bills fan living in Tampa, but I can tell you he is worth it. Matthews has done nothing even sniffing of a problem since being a pro. They love him in AZ. bad decisions would have come out by now, so his silliness is over after 3 years.

Nice kid from what I can see. That is one helluva team and Arians is phenomenal. I have to say I'm jeaolous for what AZ has created out there. That is going to be a perennial playoff team. They just need to draft he next QB as Carson only has so much time.

I bet once the Giants start winning Odell's reputation will fix itself. He has done some stupid on the field stuff and needs to mature but if you watch his interviews and comments about teammates you can tell he wants to win.

Very competitive.

Coming out of college. i wondered if both or either's great skills would translate to the NFL grind

Very fair. I didn't see Odell translating this well to the NFL either, I thought he would be more like Jarvis Landry at this level. Boy was I wrong on this one. Mathieu looked special at LSU but for awhile it looked like his head was in the wrong place. It's a feel good story that will get a lot of play if Arizona makes a deep run. Edited by Commonsense

I have no problem with a success story Common. Just did not expect it.

That Arians is one heck of a Coach i guess

Yeah a bunch of fun characters on that team, I will be pulling for them to win the NFC this year.

Me too. As long as they lose in Buffalo. Funny as we're flying up for it and my 15 yr old is in for some ribbing by our fans including his family. All 19 cousins and uncles sitting around him so he has a nice security detail.

God do I want AZ to sweep Seattle and beat the Panthers in the playoffs.

That's a heck of a gang! I don't have to tell you to have a great time. I took both my boys when they turned 16, it was a rite of passage. I hear from them daily now about the Bills and they're in their 20's. The Bills bond is a strong one.
