YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) @johnkryk At #Patriots camp today, ex-#Bills WR Chris Hogan told me why he wanted out, & needed to get out, of Buffalo http://m.torontosun.com/2016/07/28/new-patriots-receiver-chris-hogan-on-why-he-wanted-out-of-buffalo Edited July 28, 2016 by YoloinOhio
DrDawkinstein Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Basically: "I cant beat out Robert Woods, and they know I cant make a 1st down, so it was time for a change."
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 Interesting article that I think was given a headline to get attention yet isn't as negative as it appears.imo
section122 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Interesting article that I think was given a headline to get attention yet isn't as negative as it appears.imo Yup my thoughts exactly. He just gave non-inflamatory quotes and then the author made it seem much worse that what they were.
Mr. WEO Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Basically: "I cant beat out Robert Woods, and they know I cant make a 1st down, so it was time for a change." Nope: The Bills surprisingly offered him a low tender offer of $1.6 million. The Patriots offered him $12 million over four years
Captain Hindsight Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 He wanted a different opportunity? Ok. I always liked Hogan. I wish him the best except against us
Kirby Jackson Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Oh this is so good!!! Enjoy this Hogan lovers!!! I told you that the guy was a d-bag for the last 3 years.
YoloinOhio Posted July 28, 2016 Author Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) I mean, yes, woods is better. He just is. Hogan had his place and he had his moments. But he's not a real 2 in this offense. Woods might be but we will see. Hogan never would have been. Edited July 28, 2016 by YoloinOhio
section122 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Oh this is so good!!! Enjoy this Hogan lovers!!! I told you that the guy was a d-bag for the last 3 years. He certainly isn't the saint that Da'Rick is

racecitybills Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Am I missing something? do our fans get Butt Hurt every time a guy leaves? Good grief get over it!!!!! He got a nice opportunity he was not going to get here- wish him luck!

He got a nice opportunity he was not going to get here- wish him luck! Nobody is butt hurt in this thread lol. On a side note... Absolutely do not wish him luck. He moved to the best team in the division. I hope he develops a severe case of the dropsies.
Wayne Arnold Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Should he say it was hard to leave the Buffalo Bills? He didn't exactly light the world on fire or have a huge following. Probably didn't even have many friends on the team. And now he can catch deflated footballs so he should have less drops.
Kirby Jackson Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 He certainly isn't the saint that Da'Rick is At least he was thankful for the opportunity. Hogan is a punk.
C.Biscuit97 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Oh this is so good!!! Enjoy this Hogan lovers!!! I told you that the guy was a d-bag for the last 3 years. Haha. D'Rick for life!!! Never give up your dreams! This is one of those articles that seems to want to get Bills fans riled up. He said nothing bad and what receivers won't want to play with Brady? He is the Margot Robbie of Qbs. You should be able to replace a guy like Hogan but I won't be surprised to see him be a big part of the Pats this year. He gets open all the time. And with a couple better throws, he helps the Bills beat the Pats on MNF. It's probably LT why they signed him.

Watkins is 8,000,000,000,000,876 times the player that Hogan is.
Blokestradamus Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Hey, if you give me Ryan/Taylor or Belichick/Brady I know what I'm picking. Like 7/11 a lot, good role player heading into what should be a perfect fit.
C.Biscuit97 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 He's a punk. Did I read that he was mad that Woods and Watkins were getting targets?!? Watkins is 8,000,000,000,000,876 times the player that Hogan is. Come on Kirby. You're better than this. Just admit Hogan is a better NFL player than D'Rick. He stated clearly that he is a role player & not just slow white possession wr. Every wr wants the ball. He said nothing to get upset over.
K-9 Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 $7.5m guaranteed on a 3 yr deal vs. $1.6m on a one year tender? Has nothing to do with Woods or anybody else. GO BILLS!!!
