PromoTheRobot Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 With all the news coming out recently Tyrod was pretty smart to take this contract. With the previous contract he didn't have the luxury of the Bills being bad this year and still getting paid. Now he doesn't have to worry about that outcome. Taylor could go 0-16 this year and he would still get a $20MM+ contract offer as a free agent.

MattM Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Apparently there's no $10m buyout payment if cut after this year--even better deal for the Bills: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/08/17/tyrod-taylor-deal-gives-player-more-money-now-team-more-flexibility-later/ Sorry if others above noted this, but I'm too lazy to search the whole thread.
NoSaint Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Taylor could go 0-16 this year and he would still get a $20MM+ contract offer as a free agent. Well, that's not true.
The Wiz Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Well, that's not true. Sure it is, he read it on the internet.
