@viccarucci

According to NFL sources, #Bills have protected themselves w options, but satisfied Tyrod Taylor's desire to avg. $15M per yr in salary.

Basically a dream deal for the Bills.

That's a good deal for both sides if true. Tough to know until real details come out. The Bills obviously loved what they saw in the off season and in training camp so far. He's really a fierce worker and wants to be great and does all the right things. Has become a true leader. Let's see how that translates to the field and to wins.

So this deal kicks in following the upcoming season, or no?

FTFY.

Jesus, we just signed a QB to a long term deal. Just enjoy that we don't have to worry about losing him to FA next year instead of digging in under the bridge.

Don't forget I was mocked for saying the Bills should take care of Taylor before the season began.

Do you know who you're talking to?

Haven't seen the guarantee number or how its structured. Id imagine the guarantee number in the 30 range. With a few team options at the end to lessen a blow if we need to replace him.

The team options are also probably pretty reasonable if he's good though - so it works both ways.

I remember people saying kaepernicks was bad for him, but they still haven't replaced him, and keep paying him his big checks.

I think this is a new deal that voids the old deal. It would say "extension" otherwise, I think.

@spotrac

Tyrod Taylors $15M AAV (initial reports)

NFL: 32nd

QBs: 23rd

#Bills: 2nd

Flippin' awesome!
