BuffaloBill Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 It is no secret that the Bills offense is built to run first and pass second. What are your expectations for the ground game this year? Do you anticipate fewer or more yards than the Bills had last year?
RobRyanFan Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) I anticipate more. I think Jonathan Williams is going to be a beast in this offense. Edited July 25, 2016 by RobRyanFan
Cover 1 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Sky is the limit! We had a complex game last year. Imagine another offseason under the belt and some continuity. Could be dominant yet again. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tmt4ojPuLg0 Edited July 25, 2016 by TurnerE
PaattMaann Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Hopefully with Tyrods improved middle/short passing game, the chains will keep moving and the run game will benefit....the run game will be as effective as last season - which is a tall task
John from Riverside Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I am expecting the team to take the next step with their passing game....which is going to make the running game even more effective.
chris heff Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I anticipate more. I think Jonathan Williams is going to be a beast in this offense. I hope you're right. I don't know enough about JW.
Best Player Available Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 It should be great. At least running too the left.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I anticipate more. I think Jonathan Williams is going to be a beast in this offense. Can't wait to see that kid in this offense. Giddy-up!
Kirby Jackson Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I think that they will have the #1 or #2 rushing offense (right with Dallas).
thebandit27 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I think they'll be top 5 again. Remember that this team finished 1st in rushing yards overall, but also finished 1st in YPC and 5th in total yards when QB yards are removed from every team's rushing totals, so they can definitely move the ball on the ground with their RBs. Personally, I'd be fine seeing a bit of a regression in the run game as long as the passing game improves.
Rocky Landing Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 How many yards did Tyrod rush for? Over 500, I think? I would hope that those 500 yards go through the the air this season, and then some. If our ground game remains about the same (minus TT's yards) I'll be happy. Hopefully, shady will be full speed, and we end up with a dynamic compliment like we did last season on Karlos. Although, I doubt that's going to be Karlos again this season.
