How many animal assess have you tasted? None. But beavers use their scent gland to mark territory, and it's reported to smell leathery. And since smell is a major component of taste... "Castoreum: Beaver anal juice, is most commonly found as a flavor enhancer in raspberry products" I'm heart broken.
