Bruce Smith had his best career sack game against Bruce Matthews when Houston made the ill advised decision to move him outside......it was either 4 or 5 he had that day.

Houston made a LOT of bad decisions against us.

Emmitt Smith.

He was the drive chain for those Dallas Championship teams, was tough as nails, and was as classy as they come off the field.

Thank you ...quite classy...I knew I liked you for a reason.

Good memory. I recall that now you bring it up. They shouldn't have moved him outside, huh? I wonder how he felt about that decision during the game.

I'm not sure if the Bills ever played him but Roger Staubach was my hero when I was a little kid. He went to Navy, won the Heisman, did his service for the country and then joined the NFL.

Roger Staubach is worthy of being a hero. Rarely do athletes honor their commitments but Staubach did to his country with his service in Vietnam.

Yeah but you are right about the value of players like the Matthews bros.........when you can get 15 strong years out of a draft pick that makes stocking a roster a whole lot easier.
