BuffaloBill Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Other than the obvious Music City forward pass, is there one penalty call, made correctly or not, that you most remember going against the Bills? What was the call and why is it salient to you?
What a Tuel Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 (edited) Honestly I am going to say the Jaguars game is most significant. That PI call was awful, gave the jaguars another set of downs, and subsequently we lost. Who knows what would have happened the rest of the year after going into the BYE week 4-3 instead of 3-4. Does Mario try a little harder? Does the defense rally after stealing that game back from Manuel delivering it? We could be talking about a broken streak right now, and that's why it's significant. Helps that it's recent, but that came to me first and foremost. HORRIBLE, game changing call.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 "Just give it to them." This this more this and a side of this.
thebandit27 Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 "Just give it to them." This for sure. As a runner-up, I'll go with the catch on the potential game-winning drive by Stevie Johnson against Cincinnati back in 2011 that somehow was ruled incomplete and then inexplicably ruled inconclusive on review
machine gun kelly Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 The Jags play is the easiest coming to mind but then again it's 6 am.
BuffaloBill Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 Wasn't the MCM a non-call? You would be correct...
shane nelson Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Pats/Bills, same year as the Music City Miracle. 4th and long, time running out and Bledsoe throws a Hail Mary. Its dropped, game over we win. Wait there is a yellow flag on the field. "Pass Interference" ball is placed on the 1yard line. Bledsoe throws to his tight end. Touchdown. Not only cost us the game, cost us the division, a bye and the Titians game would have been the bye week. Bastards The Bills, no matter what they do. I love them!

Blokestradamus Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I've never gone back and re-watched the Bills-Ravens game from 2010 so not sure if the ruling was actually legit. Shawn Nelson got stripped in OT after many thought forward progress was stopped. 4 plays later, we lost.
Dave in Avon Lake now Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I remember one from the late 90s against the Patriots where the guys head was out of bounds due to a big hit when he caught the pass and they ruled it a completion. I think that cost us the game
ALLEN1QB Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Andre Reed personal foul in Miami. You beat me to it. First one that comes to mind for me. Reed was pissed.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 "Just give it to them." I came here just to post this but had a feeling I would be too late CBF
Gugny Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 You would be correct... Regardless, I still think it counts and it's the one that stings the most for me.
CommonCents Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 "Just give it to them." Even Ty Law agrees with this one, I don't remember many opposing players torching the refs after a beneficial call for his team.
Tuco Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Championship Game, 1988 season against the Bengals. Bruce Smith grabbed Boomer Esiason by the front of his jersey and yanked him down so hard the ref imagined Bruce grabbed him by the face mask. Fifteen yards kept the drive alive in a game we could have won. And of course the "just give it to them" game.
PromoTheRobot Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 Ravens OT game when David Nelson's forward motion was stopped and the still ruled a fumble. Cost us the game.
