/dev/null Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 So I just started playing Pokemon Go and within a couple minutes I caught a Pokemon named Ratatta. Now I'm craving some pasta and pickle juice
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 What's the deal with this game? I guess people are literally getting hurt over it trying to catch them?
YoloinOhio Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 Can someone explain this game to me? I keep seeing people talking about it on social media but no clue what it is

ExiledInIllinois Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) I got home from work @ 0630 today and there are tree teenagers in front of my house with cellphones... They were discussing something. Are they playing Pokémon Go or should I get my gun? Wow.. That is a neat trick: Type Pokémon and the accent above the "e" is automatically added! Cool site you got here SDS! http://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-video-games/pokemon-go/ On the news today they mentioned that criminals are taking advantage of the craze and waiting till someone is in a secluded area, they then victimize the Pokémon Go player(s). ExiledInIllinois Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Let the idiocy commence! http://nbc4i.com/2016/07/09/players-in-hunt-for-pokemon-go-monsters-feel-real-world-pain/

mead107 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Good thing all these people don't know about TBD because they would all be trying to catch DC Tom and just Jack
PromoTheRobot Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The makers of the app now offer businesses the chance to make their locations full of Pokémon. I take part in a farmers market on Sundays where they do this and the number of people it turns out is amazing.
/dev/null Posted July 11, 2016 Author Posted July 11, 2016 Good thing all these people don't know about TBD because they would all be trying to catch DC Tom and just Jack Catching a DC Tom would be pointless. If you took him to a gym for training he would just call you an idiot and tell you how your tactics relate to 19th century Austro-Hungarin battle tactics. I wouldn't waste PokeBalls on him. Catching a Johnny Hammerstein's on the other hand would be a challenge. When you throw PokeBalls at him, hell just sit on them
The Poojer Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 i caught a kingler the other day at a brewery in n. philly :-)
4merper4mer Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The makers of the app now offer businesses the chance to make their locations full of Pokémon. I take part in a farmers market on Sundays where they do this and the number of people it turns out is amazing. That is a brilliant idea but in need of refinement. There will not be many teenagers swayed by the app into buying fresh arugula. There are lots of apps out there that can be used to make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Imagine the money made from Poojer alone from "Porno-mom Blow!".
Blokestradamus Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 It led to this. God bless Pokemon. https://twitter.com/AndyCole84/status/751810635839643648
The Poojer Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 that's awesome...i caught a clefairy too! It led to this. God bless Pokemon. https://twitter.com/AndyCole84/status/751810635839643648
Blokestradamus Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 that's awesome...i caught a clefairy too! I've got a few dozen Pokemon cards from my youth (I stole the packs, I'm not a complete nerd). I feel like I might be pretty popular if I brag about having them.
MarkAF43 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 I'm waiting for the news stories on the parents losing their mind over their cell phone bills when the data usage spikes on their plans.
