BuffaloBill Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Name one player the Bills selected, in any round of any draft, that you thought was a stud but turned out to be a dud...
Johnny Hammersticks Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I was massively stoked for Paul Posluszny when they drafted him. He was okay, but I thought he was going to be the next Shane Conlan.
Captain Hindsight Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Lee Evans and JP I thought we would have a great tandam for years JP sucked and Evans was meh
BobChalmers Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Big Mike Williams. How does a mammoth #4 pick OT out of a big school fall so short?
plenzmd1 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 (edited) Tony Hunter. Was convinced he was Gronk before there was a Gronk. Thought it a good idea we took him before that shlup Kelly too! Thought Flowers was going to be a beast ! Edited June 28, 2016 by plenzmd1
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 EJ... i was really excited for him... got the guy we wanted and all that. and he wasn't very good.
CardinalScotts Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Hardy I though we had a stud, James Williams, John Fina, Jeff Burris
RobRyanFan Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 I thought Goodwin had some real potential when we drafted him. He still has time to show some, but it's looking unlikely.
chris heff Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 There had been a lot, but I think it has to be Mike Williams.
Mike in Horseheads Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Tom Cousineau. He not only was part of the OJ trade but he spurned us and went to play in the CFL. Then his rights were traded to the Browns and we got a number 1 pick that got us Jim Kelly!!!! Thanks Tom for being the best draft pick that never was!!!
GunnerBill Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 (edited) Little off topic but I thought Manziel was going to be real good. Unfortunately the issues off the field have really derailed him.And his lack of suitability to the pro game. I know he has had a lot of issues but his play on the field hasn't been up to it either. He was never going to be a pro-Quarterback for me. As for a Bill draft pick that I really thought might be a star... like others I'd go Hardy. Edited June 28, 2016 by GunnerBill
plenzmd1 Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Hardy I though we had a stud, James Williams, John Fina, Jeff Burris Williams Fina and Burris all decent to good players...man your standards are high
White Linen Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Besides Kyle - 2006 was pretty bad. I bought into McCargo proving people wrong.
maddenboy Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Big Mike Williams. How does a mammoth #4 pick OT out of a big school fall so short? yep. Saw him at a movie theater once. a colossal person.
VirginiaMike Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Big Mike Williams. How does a mammoth #4 pick OT out of a big school fall so short? Ditto on Big Mike -- WTF happened to him?
BetterNextYearRight? Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 Aaron Maybin. Oddly enough, Derek Freakin Fine.
