YoloinOhio
Per the morning show, he will discuss stadium. Not sure what time. By the way, Howard Simon has referred to the show at least 3 times as "Mike and Chris" instead of "Schopp and Bulldog." I don't usually listen (I will try today) but wondering if it changed its name? Jamie Nails
Doubt it'll be anything more that what he said to the D&C overnight. We are in fact finding on stadium. Need to make it work for community and organization...Hold on to your seats.

I thought they had a testy exchange one time. Also, this is where I mention how much that show sucks. Is he bringing his hot wife? (is it ok to say that?) I think attractive or smoke show is the more PC term. Kim makes me happy. Watch your back Terry because I might slide into her DMs.

I think attractive or smoke show is the more PC term. Kim makes me happy. Watch your back Terry because I might slide into her DMs. I think when Schoop had his Saturday morning collectors show, Terry Pegula called in, and didn't identify himself. As it happened, it was the last edition of Schoops' collectors show, so he was sort of abrupt with Pegula (again, not realizing it was him) because he wanted to make some final "swan song" statements for his show. As Mike told it, it wasn't until after he got off the air, that his wife told him " I think that was Terry Pegula on your last call, you cut him off". Schoop felt horrible upon learning this, and as I recall, cleared it up with Pegula, who seemed un-phased by it. I may be one of the only people who listened to Shcoops collectors show every week (the audio vault) but he wasn't rude to Pegula, just kind of cut it a little short, because Pegula sounded like just some old guy, reminiscing about collecting baseball cards... as I recall, it was right before, or right after, the Pegulas purchased the Bills. As Promo said, I think Terry genuinely enjoys talking to Schoop...or at least he did when the sale went through. I know some don't like Schoop, and I completely understand why...but I will say, from time to time, especially when there is actually something going on, you know, real Bills or Sabres news, rather than talking about them when there is little to say, he is good at asking pertinent and direct questions. I agree, he shouldn't be doing the Bills post-game show (that is horrendous), but he has his moments.

JohnC
Terry Pegula is not the most polished speaker or engaging person to interview. His responses are very sparse. But don't be fooled by the paucity of words in his responses. What he does do is answer the questions posed to him. There are owners like Jerry Jones who are self-promoters and are more known for their bluster and their attraction to the spotlight. Terry P certainly doesn't fall in that category. What I got out of that interview is that Terry Pegula hires people to run his teams and for the most part doesn't interfere. That doesn't mean he doesn't know what is going on and lacks interest. What he does is empower those who are in charge and then holds them accountable. The most memorable response in the interview is when Shoop asked about some of the free agent transactions that didn't work out when he first took over the hockey team. His response was simply: If you don't make mistakes then you are not trying. Buffalo is very fortunate to have him as an owner in hockey and football. We have to protect that chemistry."PEGULA: "If I need to get involved, or Tim asks me, or maybe I'll offer my help to him."PEGULA: "You know Tim, he never gets excited. It will be exciting because he's not afraid to make deals. You never know what can happen."PEGULA: "We sold tickets to the draft, the league recommended against that. But it worked because of our fans."PEGULA: "To date HARBORCENTER is accomplishing everything that we've envisioned. Part of the dream is kids from the world playing here."PEGULA: "The feeling of accomplishment has to come from all the people and workers who are in the building. purple haze
I like Pegula, but I don't buy his stadium conversation. I'm sure a new stadium would have been brought up at the time of the sale by the other owners. I believe there is no set timetable. I do not believe he and Mrs. Pegula have no preference for the location of a new stadium. Sounds to me they, along with Brandon, are doing a dance to make sure the new stadium goes down well with the public.
