One of the happiest days of my life was finding out my ex-wife bought one.

But if you commute to work like most people in anywhere but Alaska or through the Rocky mountains, they are the wrong car, and a crappy car that will break every other mile. And by the way, as a man, I WISH I lived somewhere where a Jeep made sense. But 99.9% of us don't. When I go on vacation, I try to find places where Jeeps are mandatory.
Deranged Rhino Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 'Star Trek' Star Anton Yelchin Dead After Freak Accident Stayin Stayin?

But they are an extra vehicle, not your main transportation.
4merper4mer Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Bills are staying. Not Anton. First Atonin, then Anton. Anyone see a pattern? Some people better be careful.
eball Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Chekov was killed by his own wessel. RIP, of course, but geez this is funny.
BuffaloBud Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 His Jeep was one of the ones recalled for a faulty gearshift.... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/06/20/star-treks-anton-yelchin-and-the-scary-reality-of-the-jeep-that-rolls-away-and-kills-you/ Being in the engineering / product design area, I wouldn't necessarily calls this faulty. It does what it is supposed to when operated properly. It's just a crappy design idea that has weaknesses.
Beerball Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 My grandfather went the same way.I'm sorry you lost her.
