If you signed a vet like Long now does his contract becomes guaranteed for the 16' season? I vaguely remember a team or two waiting to sign some players until after last season started.

Any vet on roster week 1 has contract guaranteed - if he signs after week 1 it isn't.

I'm on board. It's really low risk at this point. He's a high ceiling guy and I would think that he comes cheap. Sign him on an incentive laden 1 year deal based on the number of snaps he plays. Sign me up

NVM...signed with the Ravens

Then I would somehow find the money for Bolden because if Sammy can't play for any reason the Bills have no other elite talent there.

Bolden is a Lion.

Thought he would be a week 2 signing for sure

Ravens are desperate for OT help. They've got Stanley, who's a highly drafted rookie, and Wagner. That's pretty much it, unless I'm missing someone. They need insurance for injury or if Stanley isn't ready right off the bat.

hasn't he been out of the league for awhile?

He has not played since 2016-01-03, not as long as John Skelton. He played 4 games (Games 13-16) for Atlanta last year but started in none of them.

I still think he will want too much

CBF

I always wonder how folks come to this conclusion with no information at all

Ha. Smart teams would trade down to #2 and get stud OTs like Gregg Robinson, Jason Smith, or Robert Gallery. :)

And make 2 out of the 3 guards!!!!
