Beerball Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 His retirement will follow at the end of the season, any season. Do you offer brady the respect of a standing O on his last trip to The Ralph? Busy family weekend so this one may stay pinned several days.
YoloinOhio Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) No. I don't have a problem with others doing it, but I'll pass. Edited June 17, 2016 by YoloinOhio
Steve Billieve Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I had a nightmare last night that Hoodie was our coach. No joke. I'll pass on the standing o too.
Nanker Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I'd give him a standing golf clap, then turn around and moon him.
GunnerBill Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Unlikely that I would be at the Ralph for the event but if I did yes I would probably stand and applaud. His one of the greatest.
Blokestradamus Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 If I was at the Ralph, I doubt it. Not because he doesn't deserve it, I just don't think it would be appreciated by some of the drunken morons around me. In my living room, he'll get one from me. As sports fans, we tend to hate greatness and add caveats to it.
Rocky Landing Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 If I were there, yes. I'd be giving him a standing O. And, I'd be wearing a Brady* jersey. With an asterisk where the number '12' would be. *
White Linen Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) Tom Brady is great and I'll say it - type it - whatever. There's something about the guy that just makes me not revere him like the other greats. I guess the easy reason is the division thing but I think it's more than that. I think I tie him into Belichick's attitude, his owners smugness and bloated importance to the game, the cheating things (one involving him). He's great, they're great - I would not stand and applaud any of these people. Edited June 17, 2016 by Triple Threat
Canadian Bills Fan Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I wouldnt, but I would not think less of anyone who did CBF
Seasons1992 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Football games don't seem to lend themselves to this. Rarely do we know a player is in his last year. I appreciate his greatness and have watched more of his career than any other player ever.....we see him twice a year, he's always deep into the playoffs and has been since 2001. But I would never applaud in the Ralph for him, unless he was on a board, immobilized, and finally raised his arms to signal he's OK.
Bullpen Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 The odds of being at that game are so miniscule, but as mentioned above, if I was at home I would figuratively give him his due... I try not to hate greatness, but sometimes it's difficult.

quinnearlysghost88 Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 Standing ovation for destroying us for the last decade? dancing in our stadium when he won? bitching to the refs incessantly? getting every call? running a hurry up offense to beat us 56-10? Talking **** about our hotels? hard pass...
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 If i could, i'd throw batteries at him. I'd give him a standing golf clap, then turn around and moon him. Just like he would have wanted...
Captain_Quint Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 I hope that as he's exiting the field and heading up the tunnel for the last time, someone dumps a beer on him. Good riddance.
