love the lineup display!!!!1

Wow, Ccarrier skating with ROR tonight..

That gives us legit, ice-tilting speed in three of our top six. That speed should equate to more room for the other three, especially Reinhart.

@DailyFaceoff

It looks very much like Eichel will play tonight, also Will Carrier was taking spins with ROR and Okposo instead of Moulson this morning.

Geez, I look at this and think "those should be four pretty good lines" -- hope the scoreboard starts to reflect it.

@BuffaloSabres

He's back. "It makes a lot of other people fit better in our lineup." More on the moment you've been waiting for - http://bufsabres.co/doeglq

Sens came out sluggish in the 1st like they do in most games, and the Sabres were juiced up over Eichel returning. Sens need to button up their D.

I'm surprised that Eichel looks so strong out there. Turris had a high ankle sprain in December last year and it pretty much ended his year.

Sens actually dominated the 1st couple of minutes until they had to go on the PK. The Sabres' PP then took over.

Sabres take a 3-1 lead into first intermission. Goal and assist for Eichel. Lehner leaves. Catch up here: https://t.co/jkzVXrYiz2

I wouldn't give them even that much credit. They outplayed the Sabres for the first minute, but played sloppy D the rest of the way. They normally make good adjustments, so we'll see how the 2nd goes. I could see the Sabres being able to use Jack's return to carry the momentum through though.

Can't quite put my finger on it but there was something different about the Sabres tonight.

Figure about two weeks for the forward lines to get reacquainted with each other and more importantly to get the Bogosian/Kulikov paring back and then we're in business.
