26CornerBlitz Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 @BuffaloSabres Coach Bylsma: Jack looks good out there. Had a good battle practice yesterday, good practice today. He was beating guys, separating himself. It's possible Jack Eichel will play tomorrow in Ottawa, Coach says. Will be making the trip. We'll see how he feels tomorrow.
JohnC Posted November 28, 2016 Posted November 28, 2016 If Eichel can get Kane going then that will be a double bonus. If Kane doesn't quickly mesh with this linemates it will be quickly altered. Kane has frustrated me more than any player on the team. The talent is there but the feel for the game is not.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 @BuffNewsVogl One player doesn't make a team, but Jack Eichel sure makes the Sabres feel a lot better about themselves. https://t.co/KFaPgYOKEQ @BuffaloSabres The waiting is the hardest part. Jack Eichel can't wait to get back on the ice in game action. https://twitter.com/i/videos/tweet/803319175812812800
26CornerBlitz Posted November 28, 2016 Author Posted November 28, 2016 @BuffNewsVogl Confident and comfortable in Sabres' net, Robin Lehner is pulling pages out of Ryan Miller's handbook. https://t.co/m4J1YDiUdS

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 welp, let's see if he brings anything to the table.
snafu Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 (edited) Thats a big ask..i will take .450 and a good Eichel by Thanksgiving Friday in DC.I'm not sure how you're looking at it but as of today, .333 win % of all games. If you take out OTlosses, then .437. Â They have to jump 6 teams and are 6 points out of the #8 spot. There's plenty of time and there's bees a lot of key injuries, but the team didn't step up in Eichel's absence. 4merper4mer Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 welp, let's see if he brings anything to the table. Â Â Unless he brings the entire Thanksgiving spread......and a goalie.....it won't really matter. Â GMTM the hero has this thing off the rails. I'd think they'll have to keep Eichel for a few more years to see if things can somehow turn around but at this point I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to the Wings or something at next year's trade deadline. The Wings stink right now too, but is there any doubt they'll turn it around quickly? Meanwhile the Sabres have a 27 year plan to nab the #8 seed.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 11-29: DAN BYLSMA TALKS WITH HOWARD AND JEREMY ON WGR (14:34) #Sabres head coach Dan Bylsma is on WGR right now with Howard and Jeremy! Tune in:Bylsma - there's a possibility Eichel can play tonight. To this point, he's reacted to every test very well. We'll see this morning #SabresBylsma - Eichel has recovered well, reacted well to the stress on his ankle0. It's been a long road, but a good solid road for Jack #SabresBylsma - We're not gonna use 15 on the PK or a full load at 5-on-5. We wanna try to get him 15-18 minutes and see where that goes #SabresBylsma - Reinhart & Kane will benefit from Eichel being back. Everyone will benefit better because they'll fit into their roles more #SabresBylsma - Eichel's play in practice has had a trickle-down effect on the rest of the team. Hope to see that in game action too #SabresBylsma - wanna work towards being a faster, quicker team. Not just w/skating, but how we move the puck. Getting healthier will help #SabresBylsma - Bogosian is at Week 4 of a 4-6 week injury. Kulikov has been skating for a bit. He's the closest to returning #SabresBylsma on 23: he's going where he needs to go to have success. Nice to see him score. Hope to see him be more effective when 15 is backBylsma on 28: he's a player who's searching for ways to have success & he's struggling. He's one of our hardest workers, needs a lucky breakBylsma on 48: he shows a huge energy level, high compete, and skates like the wind. He leads the team in hits in his short time here #Sabres Â

26CornerBlitz Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 @BuffNewsVogl As expected, Jack Eichel is front and center at Sabres' morning skate. He's again in middle of Evander Kane and Sam Reinhart.
