Sabres & NHL 2016-17 - Victor Antipin Signs One Year Deal

Recommended Posts

It's a tough call, but I wouldn't do the 8 for Fowler. maybe the second rounder, pick 38, but that probably wouldn't be enough...

Probably posted previously, but here's a refresher on Buffalo's picks:

RD 1: 8

RD 2: 38

RD 3: 69, 86, 89

RD 4: 99

RD 5: 129, 130

RD 6: 159

RD 7: 189, 190

2 for Yakopov?

absolutely, he'll only be 23 at the start of the season. I think he can be a consistent 20 goal scorer, that's a good second round pick...

And has the talent to do much more. He needs to play with talented players though to produce.

Maybe he will be included in the deal that sends the 4th pick to the Sabres for the Sabres #8, #38, #69 and a pick next year? The Sabres will get Tkachuk and the Oilers will draft a D.

@GeorgeRichards

.@FlaPanthers said to be fielding plenty of offers for Dmitry Kulikov - players and picks involved. Kulikov has been w/ FL since 2008.

@DaveDavisHockey

Per @Friedgehnic, the sabres have interest in Dmitry Kulikov.

Don't like it.

I don't see the Sabres picking 8th. Would not be shocked to see them move up to the #4 or #5 pick. Just a hunch.

Go Leafs!

Murray already said there's no point in moving up to 4 or 5, not gonna happen.

Well I wouldn't expect him to say "we really want the 4th pick."

His logic behind not moving up to those spots is pretty sound.

“Right now I can’t move up into the top three. So I don’t see a point of moving to four or five or six,” Murray told The News Thursday evening after emerging from the NHL GM meetings at the Hyatt Regency. “There’s three guys I’ve said all along we like. We may have a choice but I doubt it, and one will be there. That’s how we read the draft. We’re happy with those three guys. There’s no point in moving to four or five. We don’t see that big a difference to pay a big price.”
