Kirby Jackson
This is sad news. I learned so much about the review system from him. Whatever he said, I banked on the opposite.

FireChan
I will only believe this if Mike Carey reports that he will be continuing as the CBS NFL rules analyst.

3rdand12
Do we really need a rules analyst anyway? I think it could be worthwhile. but i do wonder if CBS has just abolished the position. Withe the review process changing so often and again this year i would like a qualified outside observer. Maybe Mike Florio from PFT HA!!

machine gun kelly
Funny thread. I swear according to him,the refs never made a mistake ever. At least Perrierra will admit when the staff on the field makes a mistake. He doesn't often, but he's at least consistent. Besides, he had to be the single most boring guy on TV on Sunday's. NoSaint
This is sad news. I learned so much about the review system from him. Whatever he said, I banked on the opposite. Deadspin or someone should have tracked it. Amazing how bad it seemed. Do we really need a rules analyst anyway? Having a good one would make this place way better on Monday mornings. Over 29 years of fanhood
This is sad news. I learned so much about the review system from him. Whatever he said, I banked on the opposite. Seriously - every single time he was the exact opposite of correct.

DC Tom
I can't recall a single time Carey was right. But more importantly: if your broadcast teams requires a rules analyst, there's something broken in your sport.
