Do we really need a rules analyst anyway?

I think it could be worthwhile.

but i do wonder if CBS has just abolished the position.

Withe the review process changing so often and again this year i would like a qualified outside observer.

Maybe Mike Florio from PFT HA!!

Funny thread. I swear according to him,the refs never made a mistake ever. At least Perrierra will admit when the staff on the field makes a mistake. He doesn't often, but he's at least consistent.

Besides, he had to be the single most boring guy on TV on Sunday's.

He was always wrong. I'm going to miss the comedy.

It was kind of amazing. He'll be missed.

This is sad news. I learned so much about the review system from him. Whatever he said, I banked on the opposite.

Deadspin or someone should have tracked it. Amazing how bad it seemed.

Having a good one would make this place way better on Monday mornings.

I can't recall a single time Carey was right.

But more importantly: if your broadcast teams requires a rules analyst, there's something broken in your sport.
