USCG just set up a security zone around Navy Pier... Pretty cool, I may have to visit the Chicago Harbor Lock to check out the boats.

America's Cup was in SF three years ago (holy crap was it that long ago??) and it was quite the spectacle. I'm not crazy about the boats they use now but it was great people watching.

The LV Cup is the tuneup for the AC. The AC will be held in Bermuda.

I had a hell of a time in 1987 too. Up all night drinking Aussie beer on the couch until I passed out. Ahhhh the 80's were a good time.

I think they changed the LVC a little... Now called the Louis Vuitton America's Cup... My understanding, bit of a different format for the challengers now? Or am I wrong, is it the same?
