CardinalScotts Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 He's really not been a terrible d coordinator here are his stops, the yds the were giving prior year to his arrival. Raiders 369 2004 354 2005 330 2006 284 2007 341 2008 360 Browns 356 2009 361 2010 350 Dallas 351 2011 343 2012 355 New Orleans 440 2013 305 2014 384 2015 413
CommonCents Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 If I had a few more beers in me I would have mistaken those numbers for his weight.
YoloinOhio Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 When he was with the Browns, I remember a bunch of talk about him being considered for an HC job if not for his hair. He didn't look the part. I don't think he cared to be a HC so didn't cut it.
Beef Jerky Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Also a former player confirmed he was taken away control of the defense.
CardinalScotts Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 If I had a few more beers in me I would have mistaken those numbers for his weight. plenty of Fat NFL coaches - Denny Green, Mike Holmgren, Andy Reid, Bill Parcells, Rex Ryan, Wade Phillips, Mike McCarthy and of course Bellichiks bookends assitants Weiss and Crennel. Can you coach fat or skinny?
boyst Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) so basically he did nothing to improve or worsen the defense? excellent! continuity from 2015 is exactly what we need! excelsior! Edited June 3, 2016 by Boyst62
boyst Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Rob Ryan is beuatiful.I picture homer Simpsons moment when he gets too big to dial on the phone.

Maury Ballstein Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I get he's a bear. What makes him a leather bear though ?
GunnerBill Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 (edited) The numbers confirm what people know. He had one good year in Oakland, a good final year in Cleveland and good first years in Dallas and New Orleans. He has never produced consistently good defenses anywhere. But hey.... he knows he is great. Edited June 3, 2016 by GunnerBill
8-8 Forever? Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 he looks like the average buffalo guy to me... When you live in a glass house, don't throw stones
VirginiaMike Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Points Raiders 2003 379 2004 442 2005 383 2006 332 2007 398 2008 388 Browns 2008 350 2009 375 2010 332 Dallas 2010 436 2011 347 2012 400 NO 2012 454 2013 304 2014 424 2015 476 (I didn't look for & deduct points given off turnovers) Points are the key, not yards and these numbers don't look good. Let's face it, if his last name was not Ryan, he would not be in the league.
Flutie Flakes Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I picture homer Simpsons moment when he gets too big to dial on the phone. Classic! When will Rob grow out of clothes and have to wear a moo moo?
Gugny Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I'm a driver, I'm a winner. Things are gonna change; I can feel it.

MDH Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 If I had a few more beers in me I would have mistaken those numbers for his weight. I have no beers in me and that was my first assumption given the title of the thread.
