26CornerBlitz Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Goodwin listed on Sports Illustrated’s “Fittest 50” A recent pair of lists complied by Sports Illustrated, indicates the world’s 50 fittest male and female athletes. The ranking of each athlete was determined by a set of six criteria which includes, strength, speed, endurance and agility. Coming in at No. 18, is non-other than Buffalo Bills wide receiver Marquise Goodwin.
BuffalothruMyVeins Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) Four of the criteria are strength, speed, agility, and endurance... anyone willing to bet that neither of the other two criteria were "durability". Edited May 30, 2016 by BuffalothruMyVeins
K D Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Hopefully he doesn't place in the Olympics. When they go to put the medal on him he's going to pull a muscle in his neck and be out 8-10 weeks
Beerball Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 glass. It doesn't say he's fit for playing WR in the NFL.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) glass. To be fair, his injuries really weren't preventable. Broken hand. Pulled hammy. Then a 320lb DL knees him in the ribs with his full body weight. Could be similar to Eric Wood getting the injury prone tag. Im rooting for Goodwin. We all should be. He is actually a very talent player and would really help our offense. Edited May 30, 2016 by TheTruthHurts
justnzane Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 As a track guy, I take objection to this. Glash is a perpetually injured athlete which is the antithesis of fitness, even then the most fit people in the world tend to dominate their fields, which you can't say he has done either in the long jump, and especially in the NFL.
boyst Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Cynicism on TSW? Nope. Never. oh yes. i love being excited about a man who has spent 3 years in the league and caught 20 passes amassing a whopping 349 yards! that world class speed, amiright? just for ***** and gugny's tj graham: 57 catches and 770 yards in his first three seasons. that jump catch!

A pulled hammy is definitely preventable. This comes down to flexibility, hydration, oxygen levels, muscle condition, proper diet, proper stretching, etc.... Your more fit people will avoid most major muscle pulls.

boyst Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 sez the only man with a TJ Graham tattoo on his backside. it was never a love fest for tj graham, it was the idea that as a 4th wr he was a great option and better than goodwin. what good is a 4th wr who is never available to play him. graham > goodwin.

Graham started 17 games on probably the worst WR depth in Bills history. it was never a love fest for tj graham, it was the idea that as a 4th wr he was a great option and better than goodwin. what good is a 4th wr who is never available to play him. graham > goodwin. Not even close. Graham was a horrible football player. Goodwin actually has skills. His problem is being unlucky health wise.
K D Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Unlucky or unfit? Hes not fit enough to take the hits of an NFL player so how is he the most fit? If he was 200 pounds and he could do the things he does then that would be someone who is a fitness freak. Most high school players these days are bigger than Goodwin

Prickly Pete Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Who cares. I think I would rather bicker about Robert Woods' value, than swoon over Goodwin. He is useless to the Bills.
hondo in seattle Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 Shouldn't we be happy that a major media source is singing the praise of one of our own??? (However flawed the methodology may be).
