I think the Bills should take a look at him. He's a good player. He could compete with Woods for the #2 spot IMO. Coming off injury, would be relatively cheap. He was at about 3mill/yr with Cleveland.

Browns release veteran WR Brian Hartline, per source.

Rex played against him for years when he was in Miami so likely has an opinion on him.

He's at least as good as Andre Roberts who they brought in last week for a look-see.

A little older than all of the guys on our team i think - but also a lot more accomplished. Would fit right in....

He's better than Chris Hogan, or at least he has been the last four years. The Browns backed themselves into a corner with drafting all those WR, because now they have to cut a couple of them just to get them on the PS. Releasing Hartline, who is a better player already than most of them, is a consequence of their moneyball approach. I would look into him for sure if he hasn't lost his quickness.

Every year, we see these same posts. Let's sign someone else's aging, non-performing piece of trash because by some special feat of magic, his career will be revived with the Bills. Enter Brian Hartline. A slow 6-2 slender dude that's been hurt almost every season of his career and going on 30 years old. We'll just work on where he fits on the depth chart that already includes 13 players, including 3 rookies. I know they brought in Andre Roberts, but am guessing they have him pegged as a PR/KR specialist based on his experience. He's also a year younger and despite being 3 inches shorter, is 12 pounds heavier. At the end of the day, Hartline may have been relevant 3 years ago. At this point, I would take a pass.

Hmmm?

@JoeBuscaglia

Hartline has played in 104 out of a possible 112 games. Don't let me stop you from banging on that drum, though.

We don't have a 3rd receiver. We have 5 4/5 receivers and are i guess hoping 1 of them can either stop getting hurt, or stop dropping the ball. We should be kicking the tires on everyone.
