boyst Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 i think it would be fun to have your previous employment as a professional football player. that tickled me to see. imagine peyton manning or brett favre working as a loan officer at BB&T. Their bio "previous: NFL Quarterback." though, meeting any previous nfl player and their life now is always interesting - to be atop the entire profession in your field to being just another interloper of the daily hustle and bustle has to be a reality check. but, good for him and his happiness.
Saxum Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Why not? He leveraged his football career for VP role. Scott Norword does it - he is real estate agent in Northern Virginia. I one of his business cards. He grew up in Alexandria, VA (Fairfax County not city of Alexandria) where I live too.
YoloinOhio Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Good for him. Glad he was able to successfully transition from the game. It could not have been an easy decision to do so.

purple haze Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I noticed that too! EVP! Some start up CEO is obviously a big 9ers fan. I'm sure he has some skills, but the biggest thing is that article was a good amount of free publicity for the company. Never a bad thing.
Bill from NYC Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 He was always a great kid. I was hoping the Bills would draft him back then and wish him nothing but the best.
K D Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 Smart move, look at all the free pub this business is getting now
Augie Posted May 21, 2016 Posted May 21, 2016 I also had hoped we would draft him. In fact, if the whole EVP thing doesn't work out..... Good for him, always seemed like a class act. Hard to walk away from the money available to him, but it sounds like he's been one of the smart ones.
