CommonCents Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Players with stone hands usually do poorly in that role too. Oddly enough he only has 3 lost fumbles in his six year career, from what I can find none of those came on returns. Arenas averages 2 fumbles a year returning kicks. He returned one punt in 2013 and fumbled it, hasn't returned one since. We need a better option at returner.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I'll call him "Meh" Roberts, because he's pretty unimpressive to me. Good receivers don't spend six years in the NFL bouncing between NFL teams mostly as a PR/KR guy. In 121 PR/KR, the guy has one TD. To boot, the Bills already have 13 WR's on the roster, including 3 rookies. Not happening. 2 teams?
hondo in seattle Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Considering we're a run first team, I'm okay with our WR/TE roster as long as Watkins returns 100% before the season begins and we stay reasonably healthy thereafter. I'd like to see the Bills sign Roberts to compete for the #3 position and potentially help as a return man... But I don't think Andre Roberts will make anyone forget the other Andre R. White Linen Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Signed with the lions today. Good on him for finding a desperate team.
