YoloinOhio Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Report: Miami Dolphins OT Laremy Tunsil's ankle, not off-field concerns, led to draft slide http://www.profootballweekly.com/2016/05/18/report-miami-dolphins-ot-laremy-tunsils-ankle-not-off-field-concerns-led-to-draft-slide/appj8e2/
26CornerBlitz Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 @greggabe Regarding report that Tunsil had bad ankle, was told by two teams that he checked out fine
YoloinOhio Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 The Shah's spleen might be worst of the three.who's what?
BuffaloMatt Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Does any one know the medical examination protocol that teams are allowed to do when they evaluate potential draft picks? Also what kind of review is done at the draft? Seems strange that significant injuries go overlooked or are able to be concealed at these exams.
Andrew Son Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 I see your ankle and knee and raise you a shoulder
K-9 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 who's what? This guy. The one with the huge shoe collection.
Heitz Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Not about his ankle, but reports are that he's struggling with the move to the inside (just heard this on Sirius too): http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/07/04/tunsils-growing-pains-could-keep-him-out-of-a-starting-job/ http://sports.yahoo.com/news/laremy-tunsils-biggest-concern-now-its-not-a-gas-mask-bong-135403742.html(not enough bong references in the Yahoo! version of the story...)

Imagine that. Playing at tackle at guard isn't easy. Finesse tackles don't usually work best in a phone booth. Setting him up to fail.

YoloinOhio Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 (edited) Branden Albert is so injury prone they should just assume he will be at LT for part of the season and not bother trying to teach him to play Guard. Edited July 5, 2016 by YoloinOhio
NoSaint Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 the medical screening around the league is dreadful an alternative take may also include that the medical condition around guys in the league is so rough that it doesnt always make it easy to draw the lines.
DC Tom Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 The Shah's spleen might be worst of the three. Someday this'll get old. But not yet.
Doc Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Can someone point me to the "Shah's spleen" post. Thanks. And I'd rather take a chance on a guy with a shoulder injury than a guy with a bad wheel.
