26CornerBlitz Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 @BuffRumblings The #Bills are expected to land a 2017 comp pick for Nigel Bradham, per http://OverTheCap.com One of the better sites for keep track of NFL salary cap data is OverTheCap.com, which also makes a valiant effort at trying to project compensatory picks for the following year's NFL Draft. They published their projection for the 2017 NFL Draft last week, and in it, the Buffalo Bills land an extra sixth-round pick for the free-agent defection of linebacker Nigel Bradham.

Manther Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Back to back years with comp picks is a sign of an organization building through the draft and well (in most situations). And. I BILLieve it is on this case. Go Bills!
26CornerBlitz Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Cardale Jones and Kevon Seymour are injured? I missed that. No but Cardale is already a bust and Seymour is blind.

3rdand12 Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 No but Cardale is already a bust and Seymour is blind. so we got That going for us.
OldTimer1960 Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) Agreed. Well managed teams always seem to have comp picks fall to them. It's no accident. Or it could just be that teams that are currently on top can't afford to keep all of their players and can't afford to pay other team's FA and therefore get compensatory picks. Not sure which is cause and which is effect. Edited May 19, 2016 by OldTimer1960
Rock'em Sock'em Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 http://overthecap.com/2017-compensatory-draft-picks-update-5102016/ Buffalo: They were very mindful in signing multiple UFAs at low enough levels that should not meet the minimum qualifying APY. The one exception is Zach Brown. If he is cut, the Bills would be eligible for a 7th for Ron Brooks. It's been apparent for about 2 years now that the front office is actually paying attention to this stuff - for the first time in a long time.

Nick O'Leary, Kolby Listenbee and Tevon Seymour are also 6th round picks. We don't yet know what they will become but they are still on the roster. Edited May 19, 2016 by YoloinOhio
