The reason everyone hates Jeff Gordon is because he isn't a friggin redneck like a good portion of NASCAR fans. He's the guy that came along and pounded their redneck champion Dale Earnhardt and stole his thunder. Jeff Gordon is the reason NASCAR got out of the backwoods and onto network television.
