racecitybills Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 The next few days will be why I sometimes hate being a Bills fan- The negative BS about to start spewing on this site and on WGR will be monumentally ugly- Let the negativity begin!!!!
IDBillzFan Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I love how you start a thread about the nattering nabob of negativity by being a nattering nabob of negativity. Deep, man. Very deep.
K-9 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) Let the negativity begin? Begin? It has never ceased around here. Especially from the usual suspects who relish it. Bad news is Viagra for them. And today's news is a resounding SCHWING! GO BILLS!!! Edited May 16, 2016 by K-9

I am on the positive side- have lived in several parts of the country (including LA area) as a Bills fan and the negativity that our "fans" sometimes exhibit is awful-

And today's news is a resounding SCHWING! GO BILLS!!! How about Snickers as a remedy? Nevermind....Wouldn't work!
May Day 10 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Really.... what reason is there for positivity? We are nearly 20 years past their last playoff win... What 16, 17 years since they even had an appearance. These things keep happening. The front office lays turd after turd. They desperately need someone to captain the ship, have needed it since Butler (and Donahoe even). They dont bring that guy even with a new owner. Instead they just double down with the Ryan brothers and a C130 full of guaranteed money handed out. Bills: We got Shaq Lawson. Fills an immediate need Rumblings: He needs shoulder surgery Bills: he is fine, our doctors said so. We are smarter than everybody. 3 Weeks Later: He needs shoulder surgery I wish I could give them the benefit of the doubt... but when have the earned that?

Don't you get it? When the Kool-Aid Krowd around here attacks posters and generally spews their own form of negativity and divisiveness, it's OK.
Guest K-GunJimKelly12 Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 I am usually a pretty big fan of Whaley, but he looks really bad here. Whaley projects an aura of confidence bordering on arrogance. When asked questions about Lawson's shoulder after the pick he dismissed the concerns quickly and basically said it would not be a problem. Now we have a situation where we may have our first round pick out for half the regular season. It is a really bad look. As for the negative fans, what do you expect for a team that hasn't made the playoffs in 16 years? Yes there are people who are going to complain no matter what. At the same time there are people who are going to paint an always rosy picture. I am not going to sit here and say fire Whaley or the season is over, but I am not going to tell anyone in this suffering fan base they have no reason to be negative.
BMWR100RT Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 "Win some games and shut us "nattering nabobs" up." This. Being a Bills fan is tough enough even without Dixie Whistlers. If you think things are rosy, please shut up. It really is OK to love the team and still be horrified at bad luck and ineptness.
Kemp Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Yeah, you idiots! Stand up and cheer about the first-rounder heading to surgery after we were specifically told by leadership that nothing was wrong with him.

Stormin Norman Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Hmmmm. The team hasn't made the playoffs in a decade and a half, has been a perennial doormat for the Patriots, and there is nothing definitive to indicate that we're closer now than we have been since the Music City Miracle. The Russ Brandon hope-selling machine is getting stoked up once again, ready to set new hooks into the collective mouths of Buffalo's vast array of receptive lemmings. And the price of tickets just went up. Again. Sorry to pee on your blossoming flower, buddy, but perhaps the title of this thread should read: "The Positively Preposterous Proponents of Positivity." Let's get to the playoffs once. Then, by all means, I'm on the bandwagon with everyone else.
Malazan Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 (edited) The problem is the nabobs just B word about everything. It means that those of us who would like to discuss actual bad decisions need to waste our time combating the people who believe every single decision is terrible. It works the same way for the people who believe every single decision is great. Both sides are just as bad and both sides use the other as justification. Personally, I'd just ban them all and let people have actual discussions. Edited May 16, 2016 by jeremy2020

It's pretty funny that the Kool Aid Crew doesn't even need to wait for a critical post before starting to slam other board members. They can't wait to get started. Awesome.
