I'm so confused, is he hurt? is he really Shaq? does he even like hats? is it his heart that needs surgery? Can it wait? Can Pegula own both the Bills and the Sabres?

So many questions, so few answers.

The defensive guru cannot catch a break. Rookie starter Injuries and high profile free agent departures have already put him at a marked disadvantage. It will take his genious just to reach 4-12...

Sorry I trolled... Can't keep it penned up any longer

How long will he be out because of this?

It's going to be tough for him missing all of training camp and pre-season to play much at all the first half of this season.

Day 1 starter huh Whaley..

Edit: Some reports state 4-6 months out after this surgery. If it takes longer to heal, he won't see the field until Mid-November...

I personally think we should take that brama bull out back and put him out of his misery before he has a chance to disaapoint us?

Report from whom? Specifics?

Is it the report from Adam S. your hanging your hat on or the message board drop from Emoulds that your hanging your hat on?

Yep, it's always a good idea to trust the word of OBD instead of media reports about the team. So, exactly as reported, the Bills drafted a guy in the first round with a bum shoulder and then tried to minimize the issue. Now it appears to be even worse than originally reported by Shefter, and will require immediate surgery. Wow, what a miracle that Shaq lasted to the 19th pick!! We are so lucky to have Whaley and Co.!!

What a ridiculous take for a short term shoulder injury.

Outstanding mannc.

4-6 months is short term? That's just plain delusional rationale there.

Taking a guy in the first round who really did have an issue that will keep him out until mid-September or as late as mid-November.

Only homers would minimize this situation.

Well, I agree that it's a sad state of affairs when message board rumors deserve more credibility than pronouncements from OBD.
