Neil Eggleston, counsel to the president, blasted the committee for sending the president a list of questions about the attack — an inquiry the administration deemed inappropriate and a partisan attempt to frame the White House as uncooperative.

Eggleston has encouraged Obama not to answer the committee’s questions “because of the implications of his response on the constitutional separation of powers,” according to a letter sent Saturday to Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and obtained by POLITICO.

Holy ****...really? Somebody decided that made sense?

MARKETS, HOW DO THEY WORK ?

Three Amigos “call for action to address excess global steel supply.”

In statements released as the summit began, the three countries announced the Nafta rule-of-origin changes will affect pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, rubber, metals, industrial and electrical machinery, precision instruments and natural gas.

On steel, the countries “agree on the need for governments of all major steel-producing countries to make strong and immediate commitments to address the problem of global excess steelmaking capacity,” a statement from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office
said.

I suppose prices could be allowed to fall until inefficient producers are forced out, but that would eliminate channels for cronyism and graft.

Big surprise. When he announced last year that he wasn't going to remove 1/2 the troops like he said he would, but would bring them all back next year, I knew this was going to happen.

Hillary won't be getting us out of there. She had never seen a war she didn't like.

Two new theaters of action will open up under HRC.

Gotta make that money.

War Powers Act. That, and the president is CINC of the armed forces, and can order them around without consulting Congress. You can thank Teddy Roosevelt and the Great White Fleet for demonstrating that last.

Talk incessantly and carry a pen - THAT's B. O.'s foreign policy.

Saw a press conference with Barry in Singapore today. I chuckled when he said that Singapore "punches above its weight."

WSJ is reporting tonight that Barry gave Iran $400M to release the four hostages in January.

WH apparently insists is wasn't a paid ransom. It was just oddly timed $400M handed to a friend...or something.
