KellyToTasker Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/27672/no-sun-no-problem-ravens-become-second-nfl-team-to-use-artificial-lighting-for-grass-field Pretty interesting, the Ravens will make use of artificial lighting to sustain a grass field for their playing surface. A little bit of a side note for opening day (vice the artificial turf the Ravens have utilized for years).

machine gun kelly Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Man- there is nothing to talk about post draft until the summer. Not on you Kelly, meaning even listening to NFL Radio, it is just the dead time for the NFL. When we have to listen about Sam Bradford for DAYS, it is a slow news cycle. But yes, that is interesting on the artificial light.

Codyny13 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 MGK...I second that, having to hear about the 2012 draft on NFL radio is mind numbing. I actually listened to music to and from work today.

pi2000 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 ...in other news, increased risk of cancer and birth defects linked to the use of artificial sunlight technology.
3rdand12 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 ...in other news, increased risk of cancer and birth defects linked to the use of artificial sunlight technology. ie xrays (That point in the offseason when a topic becomes growing grass). maybe it is worse when i thought this would be more detailed. I think all teams should play upon grass, the good stuff too.
BUFFALOKIE Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 (edited) ie xrays maybe it is worse when i thought this would be more detailed. I think all teams should play upon grass, the good stuff too. Run, run, pass........the dutchie on the left hand side. Edited May 11, 2016 by SAMMY HANDWICH
WickedGame Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 ...in other news, increased risk of cancer and birth defects linked to the use of artificial sunlight technology. Great, now I gotta worry about the grass at M&T Bank Stafium getting cancer.
KD in CA Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 (That point in the offseason when a topic becomes growing grass). I thought it was going to be a 'where to score in Baltimore' thread.
3rdand12 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 I thought it was going to be a 'where to score in Baltimore' thread. It kinda is. Read between the lines.. Gets to the Stadium Saturdays and ask for a dime bag of " clippings"
Captain_Quint Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Exactly what is this new technology? Lightbulbs.
iinii Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 They are going to use lightbulbs to grow grass? really? wow!
Maury Ballstein Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Lightbulbs. How many watts are needed ? I look forward to seeing this new grass on opening day.
