Augie Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Their salaries would be comparable to the top players at their position today.....what's the big deal? Exactly. Where they stood in rank would depend upon where they stood in the life of their contract. At or near the top in the beginning, then slide down a bit as new deals were signed by other top players. Then wait for the next deal to rise to the top again. Or, in Bruce's case, say he needs a new deal to be on top as soon as some other player's Ink is dry on their new contract.
Hammered a Lot Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Kelly's ability to run the offense without looking at the sideline and waiting to be told what to do every step of the way is what would set him apart from the majority of NFL QBs today. Especially on the Bills. I can't imagine Kelly calling a timeout because his headphones weren't working and he couldn't call a play. Ever. The best QBs in today's game don't need to be handheld.
