YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) Great point. It just feels like he has been on point with ever decision he has made. Its almost like the guy can see into the future! CBF i will add Searcy too, who got more money than Aaron Williams in Tennessee and wasn't even a full time starter for us. Now it would have been great to have all 3 of those players because they weren't all replaced with the same level of production (which is part of his job too) but the simple fact is you cannot keep everyone in the age of FA. You have to place a value on positions and players. I think he's done a great job at that. Edited May 4, 2016 by YoloinOhio
YoloinOhio Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I don't know what the cap savings are, but Matt Slauson is visiting per Schefter
NoSaint Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I don't know what the cap savings are, but Matt Slauson is visiting per Schefter i wouldve guessed we generally had our interior settled at this point, honestly.
26CornerBlitz Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 i wouldve guessed we generally had our interior settled at this point, honestly. The word is they're looking at him at RT.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The word is they're looking at him at RT. I love this idea CBF
3rdand12 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The word is they're looking at him at RT. Hendy's health not coming around? I figured Mills would be starting. Well done Bandit! And i have to say again, Delighted for Cordy and the deal getting done. it
PromoTheRobot Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Lol. That's classic coming from you. Did the Bills ever make a move that you didn't like?Sorry if I don't blurt out "sixteen years no playoffs" like I have Tourettes in response to every move the Bills make.
nucci Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I love this idea CBF Why..hasn't he played G for most or all of his NFL career?
26CornerBlitz Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I thought so, but I'm glad they are looking to upgrade Miller. They're not. @TyDunne Tyler Dunne Retweeted Adam Caplan #Bills didn't draft an offensive lineman, so they're checking out Slauson. As @mikerodak notes, it's at RT too.
Kelly the Dog Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Slauson at RT, replacing one of the three headed monster, would be a huge upgrade, especially on gameday, since if there were an injury to either OG or C, Slauson could slide over and play it.
John from Riverside Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 They're not. @TyDunne Tyler Dunne Retweeted Adam Caplan #Bills didn't draft an offensive lineman, so they're checking out Slauson. As @mikerodak notes, it's at RT too. Im hoping he can play RT...this is what I wanted the bills to do.....
TUBSTER Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Cordy's Glenn? Any news on anyone else's Glenn? GO BILLS!!! I thought the same thing when I saw it.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I'm assuming the $19M is actual take home pay. Otherwise, why make the deal?
Santana Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Per Ian Rapoport: #Saints LT Terron Armstead signed a 5-year extension worth $64.5M base, source said. $38M guaranteed for injury, $25M fully guaranteed. Big. Whaley and the boys did a good job!
bonechiller Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 What's the signing bonus? That's the large sum of money given up front to a player that signs a multi-year contract, not included in the yearly salary.
nucci Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 That's the large sum of money given up front to a player that signs a multi-year contract, not included in the yearly salary. but that's not important right now

26CornerBlitz Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Commitment to continuity has Cordy Glenn encouraged He's not making any promises, but Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn fresh off signing a multi-year contract extension is very encouraged about what Buffalo should be able to accomplish on offense this fall.
The Big Cat Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Commitment to continuity has Cordy Glenn encouraged TSW's c-word.
