KOKBILLS Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 "Look at that closing speed by Foster." Kirk Herbstreit Foster tackling Watson short of the 1st on 3rd and 15 in the 3rd quarter (3:52). In man coverage on 18 - Legitt (RTE) down the seam into a deep route. That is special, he's dominating the NCG from the ILB spot in all phases of the national championship game. He's one hell of a LB... Quote
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I should have something out today making the case for Malik McDowell being the BPA at #10. I'm sure Bills Facebook will love it EDIT: As if by magic - I got a little weird, talking Planet Theory and whatnot, but I like this kid. http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/09/buffalo-bills-nfl-draft-spotlight-msu-dl-malik-mcdowell-scouting-report/ I like McDowell but I think we have the guys to switch to 43. We need weapons on offense more. @JohnMurphyShow .@dpbrugler on Solomon Thomas "if he falls to the #Bills that is a no brainier for me." Big Solomon fan but would rather go offense Good news is he doesn't like this class. At least two of these guys will be gold. Darnold is bust city. Barbarian's next crush victim. yet you love Trubisky BB is going to lose his mind. That's his guy; it's rare that we draft his guy. rare indeed although over the years I have gotten a few guys but usually latter round dudes that aren't stars. (although I was Schoebel fan so there's one) But if we do defense I would be stoked to get him or Derrick Barnett. For all the Bills fans that's enamored with Tony Romo, I have a draft pick that's compared to him. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000701376/article/dare-to-compare-nfl-comp-for-ole-miss-qb-chad-kelly Go get him Doug Chad isn't really like Romo more like Flutie and Favre and Fitz Quote
jeffismagic Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Does anyone have an informed opinion about Cal's Davis Webb? In the little bit I saw of him this year, he looked pretty good--pro-like. He had a 61.6 percent completion rate,a 37/12 TD/INT ratio, and over 4000 yards passing in 12 games. I don't profess to be an expert, but I'm curious to know what the scoop on him is. Great QB prospect. Could translate well to the pros was a 5 star recruit out of high school I believe. Could go in 3rd round and Webb and Mahomes are the 2 QBs I would target. Quote

I'd take Flutie/Favre rolled into one!! Disagree on Fitz. Much stronger arm than Fitz Quote

Blokestradamus Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 25-year-old USC defensive tackle Stevie Tu'ikolovatu has been invited to the Senior Bowl. The nephew of former Jets fat lump Sione Pouha. Quote
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Is that a bad thing? I'd take Flutie/Favre rolled into one!! Disagree on Fitz. Much stronger arm than Fitz he does have some bad. My comparisons are; runs like Flutie, throws like Favre and picks like Fitz. Kelly needs a lot of work, as most college QBs do, as he tends to trust his arm too much and throws into bad situations but he has the talent to be a franchise guy. Weather he fulfills this is anybody's guess. Quote

P51 Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 He's one hell of a LB... I thought a case could be made for him being the best player on the field through the 3rd quarter of the NCG. I think he's in play at 10 with McDermott in all likelyhood being the next HC, thought so before too lol, more so now, his play speed is elite! Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 @LedyardNFLDraft 5 games into Jamal Adams, biggest surprise to me is how fantastic he is in man coverage. Not enough said about that. I think he can play CB Technique-wise, he's really impressive, and his athletic tools and size elite there. Great versatility gonna be a big weapon in NFL. He can step into slot against TEs without issue, he can play in the box and make stops, he can play single high, 2-deep.Extremely impressive Quote

26CornerBlitz Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 if that doesn't sound like what the defense need, not sure what would Shame the Bills won't have a chance to grab him. He'll be long gone by pick 10. Quote

I think that he is going to be a really good pro. I am sad to see him go but at the same time I am excited to see some of these young guys (specifically Okudah) come in and play early. if that doesn't sound like what the defense need, not sure what would Yeah, Adams is high on my wish list. He makes a ton of sense for the Bills. Quote
26CornerBlitz Posted January 11, 2017 Author Posted January 11, 2017 @MoveTheSticks This draft has the deepest/most talented group of CBs I've seen in several years. Also, loaded with edge rushers, safeties, RBs and TEs. Quote

The incoming OSU 2017 class has the number 1, 4, 14 & 16 ranked CBs in the nation and just added number 1 JUCO CB who was previously a 5 star Bama commit. Quote

Also, loaded with edge rushers, safeties, RBs and TEs. This is why I'd go after Corey Davis @10. U can still land a quality safety in rd 2. If Davis isn't there, then move back and acquire more picks. Corey Davis is Dez Bryant without the attitude Runs like Flutie? He didn't before the knee injury and I doubt that he will after. Blitz, Chad was fairly mobile and manipulated the pocket pretty well. He took off a lot with that zone read at Ole Miss Quote
